Oakland 2030: Climate Action Plan Survey

Oakland residents can shape Oakland’s response to climate change over the next ten years.

Share your vision! Help set the City of Oakland’s priorities for the 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP) by completing this Climate Action Survey.

It should take no longer than 25 minutes.

The 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan

A Just Transition Roadmap In October 2018, the Oakland City Council adopted a Climate Emergency and Just Transition Resolution calling for urgent and accelerated climate action. Oakland has ambitious goals – to improve social equity while reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to 56% below 2005 levels by 2030.

It will take bold action, but now is the time.

With your help, the 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP) can help Oakland transform the threat of climate change into an opportunity to improve our local economy and quality of life.  We can address climate change and benefit existing residents with better neighborhoods, improved health, and green jobs.

Additional information is available from the City of Oakland: Oakland 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan.

The Oakland Climate Action Coalition, Environmental / Justice Solutions, and Blue Star Integrative Studio, Inc. are the ECAP Equity Facilitators. Our team is working with the City to ensure that Oaklanders from all walks of life shape the City’s climate actions over the next decade.

Our Goals? Maximize the social, racial and economic benefits of climate action in Oakland’s frontline communities and increase collaboration for climate action among Oakland’s residents, organizations, coalitions, and local businesses.

All Oakland residents can actively participate in developing the future of climate action in Oakland.

  • Take our Climate Action Survey. Vote for the climate actions you would like the City to take or support you to participate in. Share any concerns and additional suggestions.

All of the community input that our team gathers, including survey responses, will directly influence the ECAP.
